Reforming the Nigerian Police

Documenting institutional learning and collaboration
W45 was engaged by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) to provide visual documentation for a digitization training organised by the Nigerian Institute of Police Studies.

The programme brought participants together for technical training, workshops, discussion sessions and collaborative design workshops.

The Assignment

Our role was to document the programme as it unfolded, capturing both the formal training sessions and the interaction, collaboration and exchange of ideas taking place throughout the programme.

The objective was to create a visual record that could continue communicating the work beyond the training itself.

Extended Impact:
The resulting photography was subsequently used by NIPS across its social media channels, extending the visibility of the programme beyond participants in the room.
This reflects a central part of our approach to institutional documentation: creating visual material that works both as a record of an activity and as communications content organisations can continue using afterwards.
