Creative Director

Tahir Sherriff is founder and principal of W45. He drives the entire program-related process for W45, and oversee's the teams across projects.

Tahir worked as an independent media fixer, researcher, columnist and reporter for five years before setting up W45. He supported the development of digital content for local and international media houses, brands, for-profit and non-profit organizations in Nigeria during this time. Among them - BuzzFeed, The Daily Telegraph London, OTF South Africa, Danish Radio, PIND Foundation, OBS France, The Washington Post, Regency Foundation South Africa, CCTV Africa, and the Engine Room.



Kassim Braimah is a filmmaker and documentary creator with training from the Nigerian Television College after a degree in communications from the Auchi Polytechnic in Southern Nigeria, and a bachelor in film directing from the Nigerian Television Authority College in Nigeria


Over the last seven years, Kassim has developed digital content including short skits, advertisements, and brand-related digital images for local and international brands.

His most recent comedy skits under the brand label YAWA, have been nominated for the African Magic Viewers Choice Awards. 


Researcher/Hausa Translator

Muhammad Malumfashi doubles as an online news Hausa Editor with Legit.ng. Covering local news and interviews. Malumfashi works as a consultant researcher and content analyst with a local Non-governmental organization working across Northern Nigeria.

Malumfashi also writes on politics, governance, and religion with features articles appearing on NAIJ.com, Daily Trust and other outlets.

At W45 Malumfashi supports projects with professional bi-lingual translator & transcriber skills for projects and programs.


Director of Partnerships

Abdullahi Ibrahim Bah is a trained financial manager, coordinating international business support for W45 globally.


Ibrahim has a diploma in human resource management from the College of New Caledonia, a bachelors degree in Accounting from the Ahmadu Bello University Nigeria, an MBA in Financial Analysis from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver Canada, and an MSc in International Business from the University of Hertfordshire, United Kingdom.

Abdullahi Bah manages International Partnerships for W45 remotely from Canada.
